A 'Spiritual Bouquet' for Biblical Renewal

Thank you for your outpouring of prayer for a biblical renewal of the Church!

The St. Paul Center in January 2006 sent a large "spiritual bouquet" to Pope Benedict XVI to mark the 40th anniversary of Dei Verbum ("The Word of God"), Vatican II's document on God's revelation through Scripture and tradition.

More than 150 of you pledged to pray for the Pope's intention that "like Mary, the Church will be a humble handmaid of the divine Word."

Together, we committed to pray nearly 2,000 Rosaries; to do more than 1,500 hours of lectio divina; to pray 435 holy hours; offer 133 Masses; and pray 60 divine mercy chaplets.
