A Very Special Fathers' Day Celebration

Hundreds of "fathers" were remembered in a special Mass celebrated at the St. Paul Center in late June.

The Mass, offered by a good friend of the Center, Father Tony Thurston, was held to pray for the intentions of Center supporters, who made special prayer requests in honor of Father's Day.

"Our friends asked us to pray for their fathers - living and dead," said Center director, Rob Corzine. "They also asked us to pray for their current and future 'spiritual fathers,' their priests and seminarians. It was a privilege to be able to hold up their fathers, to seek the special intercession of Saints Peter and Paul, at a time when the culture has so obscured the Christian meaning of fatherhood."
